About The Winery

The name Miliasso goes back to Giovanni Miliasso, the great-grandfather of the current winemaker Luigi Dezzani. When Luigi (the first generation) married in 1934, the vineyards of his wife's family were united with those of the Dezzani family. At that time Giovanni was still a wine-grower and was known for his quality and dedication.

The current winemaker Luigi Dezzani is the third generation, and under his direction, dedication and care arise excellent quality wines. Over the 70 years since the winery was founded the principles of winemaking held up by the family remain unchanged: passion, tradition, quality and innovation.

This combination has ensured that the Dezzani are currently one of the most important Piedmontese winegrowers, and their vineyards are some of the best vineyards in the region.
