Why we think this is a classy wine to drink

Spicy Floral Black Cherry Plum Cassis Blackcurrant

  • Beautiful Argentinian Malbec sourced from the Familia Blanco in the Lujan de Cuyo province of Mendoza which looks at the Andes mountains to the west at an altitude of 1,000m above sea level.
  • This Malbec was awarded 91 points by James Suckling attesting to the outstanding quality of this medium-to-full bodied, ruby red wine.
  • This wine was aged 6 months in oak and 8 months in bottle before release. The wood is very well integrated and the wine has a delicious freshness and elegance with a perfume of purple fruit with spicy and floral expression. Flavours include blackberries, black currants and cherries, some figs and prunes which combine with ripe, soft tannins.
  • Perfectly accompanies barbecue foods, steak, grilled meat, hard cheeses and pizza.
