Bodegas Patrocinio is located in Rioja, Spain - the global and famous Spanish home of Tempranillo wines
The Patrocinio winery is the driving force behind Uruñuela, a town of 967 residents located in the centre of the Rioja Alta region. The winery started in 1985 with 200 grape growers that owned small vineyards in Uruñuela. They joined forces to produce and market their own wines - marking the birth of Bodegas Patrocinio.
Today the winery has over 525 hectares of vineyards at is disposal in Rioja. These vineyards cover a wide array of soil types, varieties, average ages and microclimates, enabling the production of different styles of wines, all with the distinctive Riojan character.
