Why we think this is a classy wine to drink

Chocolate Coffee Black Cherry Plum Toasty Oak

Character of a Pinot Noir meets Cabernet Sauvignon

  • Corvina is a grape of amazing versatility and a Northern Italian marvel that you should try. This is the grape of the famous Amarone wines.
  • Lovers of Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon will find Corvina a real treat as it offers a range of wine styles. This red wine being more rich and powerful in style having been made partially from dried grapes, and it spent 8 months in American and French oak.
  • This round and juicy Corvina wine offers rich, soft and fresh red and black fruit, vanilla, kirsch, mocha and cedar aromas. A powerful taste, with sweet cherries, cassis, espresso beans and toasted oak. Creamy and sturdy in structure; almost as rich and juicy as a large Amarone.
  • It is a rich wine offering a long taste and it accompanies risotto, roast red meats, pizza and pasta very well.
  • The perfect wine for a casual meal it offers no pretense and is very approachable all week long.

About The Winery

The story of Cantine Tinazzi began with the commitment and passion of Eugenio Tinazzi. He founded the winery in 1960 near the beautiful Lake Garda in the province of Verona. Eugenio initially started with a small company, but the wine was so delicious and so in demand that the company grew rapidly. It expanded into the province of Lombardy and later became successful throughout northern Italy.

His son Gianandrea Tinazzi took the winery over at age 18 and decided to go international in 1980. In just 10 years, he managed to achieve success across Europe. His son Giorgio has since followed in his footsteps and his daughter Francesca is now a big part of the winery.

Cantine Tinazzi is able to provide a great example in maintaining traditions and wine quality. Winemaker Giuseppe Gallo and his team ensure that each crop is treated with care and passion to guarantee characteristic fine Italian wines.
