Why we think this is a classy wine to drink
- From the premier family winery, Bric Cenciurio, and the Coste di Rose "Cru" vineyards located on a prestigious hill with full eastern exposure in the community of Barolo, just in front of the Bussia hill in Monforte. Coste di Rose is characterised by a very steep slope (more than 40%) which allows the perfect maturation of the Nebbiolo clusters.
- This 2013 Barolo, from the 97 point rated vintage "best Barolos since 2010", is a tempting red wine with grandeur, a lot of finesse, enormous length and a creamy taste.
- Brick red in colour with a deep core. Very complex and seductive in its aromas. Full, broad and full of savoury herbs, earthy truffle, leather, smoked ham, blueberry, roses and kirsch. Beautifully round and full of creamy flavour with cherry bonbons, earthy sweetness, tobacco, violets and truffle. Enormous length.
- Perfect with game and red meats. Excellent with mature hard cheeses.

About The Winery
Bric Cenciurio is a small, family owned and run winery based in the town of Barolo in Piedmont making only 6,500 bottles of wine each year.
Twelve hectares are planted across three different Piedmont regions. As well as their Nebbiolo vines in Barolo itself, they have Arneis planted on the sandy soils of the Cenciurio hill and Barbera in Magliano.
